  2. berlin_120 + waypoints

    HUNKMEGS AT 128
     
    Author        : 2Bit
    Description :
    Installation: Put the pk3 file into the etmain folder.
    Num players : The more the merrier.
    Objectives  :
    A Berlin street, 1945. Allies have to capture the street in house-to-house combat.
    The first buildings to capture are marked by a red flare (which turns blue when Allies capture the flag and red on Axis recapture).
    Flags (which are always on the ground floor) must be held by the Allies for a total of 90 seconds to make the capture permanent.
    At that point the flare turns yellow, indicating that Allies must now eliminate all Axis defenders in the building to secure it. So long as at least one Axis defender remains alive in the building, it remains unsecured.  When the flare turns yellow Axis have 20 seconds to re-occupy the building - after that time as soon as no Axis soldiers remain alive in the building it is secured.
    When the first buildings are secured the yellow flares are extinguished and red flares are lit outside the next buildings to be captured. In this way Allies progress up the street, trying to secure a total of 7 buildings to win.
    There are no dummy windows in the map, which means every window opening potentially conceals an enemy soldier: so advancing in the open street is a risky business. Allied cov ops will need to provide smoke cover and seek out enemy snipers to assist the advance of Allied troops.

    December 1943, somewhere in the Italian Alps.**After taking the Sicily, the Allies see their progression stopped by the Axis troups at Monte Cassino, and this for months. In secret, a small group of specially trained soldiers are sent through the country for a special mission in the Italian Alps: destroy a Radar Bunker, to open a breach in the Axis belt of radars, so that the Allies can bomb the Berghof, where our spies report the Fuhrer is planning his next operations with his military staff. Italia is only invaded by troops at the moment, so antiaircraft guns are not an issue to think about. And with the winter, the Alps are isolated, so the few Axis troops guarding that station should be easily defeated. But stay alert!"

    The Battleship Scharnau from this map is loosly based on the german ww2 battleship Scharnhorst.
    In ww2 this ship was almost always accompanied by it's sister ship the Gneisenau.
    They became known as "the ugly sisters" although they were handsome ships to look at.
    Thanks to =BO= Stealth' for the scripting assistance.
    I have used several prefab brushes in this map.

                  is very open allowing plenty of choice and scope for tactics. All the buildings can be entered.

    Description:
    Its a race, to build your base! Steal Construction Materials from your enemy's base and secure them at the various 'Capture Pads' located in your team's base. Different capture pads correspond to different base constructions and upgrades, so be sure to think about where you secure your Construction Materials. Capture Pads can be used multiple times to upgrade constructions. Also, constructions can be 'synergized' by completing combinations of other constructions. The first team to complete all 40 constructions / upgrades or have the most completed when the timer runs out wins!

    Overview
    What was supposed to be a peaceful meeting at a popular fast food place turned into a warground over the jukebox, given the conflicting musical tastes. After both sides constructed a Fort Concrete, the fight was on to see who will be the Bucket Masters!

    HI Leute
    Es ist so weit und hier ist die verbesserte Version 1.0 die Final 1.2 meiner Map Battery Vara.Ich habe noch einige Änderungen und Verbesserungen vorgenommen.Mehr darüber unter Changes.Wenn die Map nicht startet seht unter Startprobleme nach.
    Story: Die II.Landungsgruppe hat den Auftrag ein Großgeschütz der aus 4 Geschützen bestehenden Batterie Vara in Norwegen zu zerstören.Gleichzeitig sollen Sie aus dem Dynamitlager im Hinterland 2 Goldkisten stehlen und mit dem Truck zum Strand bringen.
    Die Battery Vara hat es in Norwegen bei Kristinensand während des WWII wirklich gegeben und ist kein Hirngespinnst von mir.Nur das Gelände ist nicht orginal,das habe ich so gebaut wie ich es brauchte.Die Battery existiert heute immer noch und ist mittlerweile ein Museum.

    Axis:
    Verhindern das die Allies den Strandbunker einnehmen
    Verhindern das die Allies das Geschütz zerstören Hauptaufgabe I
    Verhindern das die Allies das Gold und den Truck stehlen Hauptaufgabe II
    Verhindern das die Allies die Radarcontrolle zerstören

    WICHTIG: Startprobleme ?
    Wenn die Map nicht startet, liegt es meistens daran, das Ihr zuviele Custom-Maps (pk3´s) in euerem ET-Main Odrner habt.
    Mit den Standartmaps die bei ET dabei sind und der Vara dürftet ihre keine Probleme haben,wenn doch :
    löscht ein paar Custom-maps oder console => set hunkmegs 98 oder höher probieren.
    Changes to version 1.0 Beta
    Die Goldbarren liegen nun etwas weiter vom LKW weg und der dahin ist etwas länger geworden.Der Zaun im Wasser wurde zum Teil rausgenommen,weil ich wo anders noch ein paar Patches brauchte und die Gesamtzahl der Patches nicht hochtreiben wollte.Zum Teil habe ich die Hügel etwas begradet und ein Paar Dreieck-Flächen entfernt.Auch habe ich noch ein kleinen Schützenstand hinzu gefügt und etwas hinter den linken Zaun als Blickfang eingebaut.
    Hier und da habe ich noch ein paar vergessene Struktural-bushe zu details gemacht.
    Leider regnet es an der Seite der Kanone immer noch rein.Evtl. lässt sich der Fehler noch beheben,aber ich komme da im Augenblick nicht weiter.(Änderungen an der Tracemap brachten keinen Erfolg)

    Changes to version 0.9 Beta
    Der Zaun am Strand wurde erhöht,so das man auf jedenfall ein Hurt hat wenn man drüberkommt.Das Licht und der Sound wurde angepasst und wenn die allies den Comandposten aufgebaut haben, können sie nun dort auch spawnen.
    am Einmannloch auf dem Strand wurde noch sand aufgehäuft und dank dem Model von Shallow [Sheffield UK] habe ich nun richtige Regentropfen an gewissen Stellen,aber das seht Ihr euch besser selbst an.
    Leider regnet es noch immer in die Gun an einer Stelle rein,aber trotz mehrmaligen überarbeiten ist der Bug nicht weg gegangen.Damit kann ich leben,auch damit,das im Limbo menu noch ein kleiner Fehler ist,der sich aber nicht auf die Funktion auswirkt.

    Ein paar Texuren wurden noch gefittet ; ein kleiner Zaun am oberer Bunkerausgang hinter der Gun aufgebaut ; ein Weg hinter dem Commandposten eingefügt,so wie das script überarbeitet.

    The Battery Vara is real.It was build by the Axis during the WWII and the Big-Gun´s are the same gun´s that are on the axis-ship Bismark.The Gun was build by Krupp and have a 38 cm kalliber (14,8 inch/zoll like the gun´s at the US-Iwoa).The Norge-Army use the Gun´s after the WWII and now the Battery are an museum.
