VLC Media Player is a free (and open-source) program that allows you to play many different kinds of media

Ranging from video files on your computer to DVD and Blu-Ray* Disc movies,

The website to download this program is here: https://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html

*Blu-Ray Disc playback requires a BD ROM Optical Drive, and AACS and BD+ Libraries and a Keys Database, you can download the libraries from here: https://vlc-bluray.whoknowsmy.name/files

Note that libbdplus.dll for Win64 DOES NOT WORK, and i haven't yet tried the Win32 version with 64 bit VLC, i'll update this thread once i buy a new bluray drive for my laptop,

also most movies will work without the libbdplus library, but the libaacs library is absolutely required.

For the KEYS database, you will need to download the latest version of FindVUK here: https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=172472 and then unzip the program and run "FindVUK - Synchronize.bat", it will create an up-to-date keys database automatically, and you just synchronize every once-in-a-while to get new keys.

Lastly, you will need to use disc menus for proper playback, so you will need Java Installed: https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

Hope this little thread helps you be able to watch your DVD and Blu-Ray movies you purchased on your PC.
